How to join in Software Company in USA
guys my name is Kumar and I'm coming at you from Detroit Michigan and I'm going to talk to you today about it consultancies in USA and how do they operate are they legal and ethical all your FAQs I'm going to answer in this video okay uh before we get started I would really appreciate if you can give it a thumbs up to the video it allows me to reach out to more people just like you and also if you love the video give me a thumbs up and subscribe to the channel okay all right great so here's the thing our ID Consultants is legal yes 95 of them are legal in my opinion and um from what I've heard they are able to place people at different companies and they are also able to help you now how do they operate now I believe and from what I have heard not all ID consultancies actually operate on a strong ethics they they sometimes Bend rules they'll change things they'll write maybe stuff on your resume to get you that job which you really want and which they really want because they make money from you when you work at certain companies so they get placement fees they get a percent of your income so things like that but let's jump into that and really understand how really ID consultancies work now uh number one there are different kind of Consultants there are big four Consultants like McKenzie and KPMG and all those fancy ones you know BCA Boston Consulting Group these are top companies you know most of their practices are ethical legal and at a very high standards so they may be placing your different companies you may be inside their own company or different companies they may be placing you at so it's a little bit different understand that so most of them are legal and ethical now there are a lot of ID consultancies which are started by you know it Consultants themselves they may be green card holders maybe citizens here and they start consultant consultancies and what they're doing they have a team of maybe 10 15 people who are teaching you um basically I'll give you an example of someone I kinda had met once someone I knew very close who went through that system so they used to be a civil engineer they lost their job um and they couldn't find a job for like three four months and they are like they were running out of time because they didn't have time to find a job so they he went to basically I.T consultancy he went into an I.T consultancy and this is what happened after that so basically joined the IIT consultancy he was given a stipend of like thousand fifteen hundred dollars a month he was also giving boarding he was also given a boarding he was staying with four or five different people there uh food and stuff everything else was taken care of for 90 days to 120 days they took him through training they taught him basics of SQL Tableau and other softwares you know and he learned those there still he was not strong enough to go for interviews and stuff like that so what they did they updated his resume they started putting experiences which was may not be true so they put five six years of experience whereas he only had one year of experience he had recently graduated so they will alter the resume this is a disclaimer not all ID consultancies do that I'm just giving you an example of what happened with him so he went through this and uh you know basically he had four or five years of experience he's shown he went through interviews things can get really messed up at certain times folks like he may not be even interviewing somebody else may be interviewing for him like I know a lot of I've seen videos of people getting caught and stuff like that like you know and it's very interesting so basically he went through an interview process he got the job and he started making like maybe close to like 60 an hour so once he gets that job what happens was like his company the contract he he was on a contract at this company so his consultancy for first three months kept seventy percent of that income and he only got 25 percent of that so he was making maybe 15 an hour and the consultancy was making 45 dollars an hour 75 right so for first three months after that three months it flipped so he started making 75 of that and then the company started making 25 of that because that's where they they tried to make the money back because they've invested on you they have invested in your training living and all these things they have been paying for you so that's what happens so after that he started making 45 an hour that was really good money because he was making only maybe like 20 an hour 25 an hour as a civil engineer so he literally doubled and tripled his money here's what happened he worked for six seven months but there's always under fear because he was like What if they find out what if they know I don't know what how to do from the sources I've heard um what most people do is they'll hire someone in other developing countries to do that work for them they will hire someone to basically be there and like they'll do their work and they are there to coach them or help them or do it for them also at certain point of time so they're paying them maybe 500 600 a month in a developing country whereas they are making six seven eight thousand dollars a month so that's how they work but they sometimes get in trouble if they get a call from a client or their company or they get a random assignment where that person is not there to help them and they get in trouble and sometimes they get laid off or something happens you know but most people are figure able to figure it out you know like this dude was able to figure it out six seven months into his this thing he actually learned it he started learning how to do it and he figured it out so it's a skill that he learned and he figured it out after your year he actually changed a job the consultant kept him with someone else I believe and then um he he worked there for a year and then they hired him directly instead of consultant they hired him directly guess what he went from making sixty thousand dollars a year as a civil engineer where he got laid off from from like he couldn't find a job for three months went into an ID consultancy within two years he was making 175 000 guys can you imagine so he went through sheer pressure stress and all these things he went from 60k to 175k we started work together trust me yeah I've been at my company for two years I'm not close to 175k yet but that's the thing folks understand you just have different opportunities in technology I.T than normal engineering so that's a difference folks here's the thing so whatever happened in this right and wrong is very interesting there's a choice you have to make I'm not here to make that or you know it's like ethical and non-ethical this is like you have to make those choices just make sure you're actually like so here's the thing within those three months he also like he the consultancy applied for S2 and me and he got picked up so he was really really fortunate he's been on network B for like I don't know now I've lost touch with him not in too much touch you know I don't even know where he is right now but that's you know that's that's what I learned from it that's what I learned from that experience I saw him very closely because he was struggling to find a job. I was trying to help him find a job in civil engineering, but we just couldn't get it to him. You know, so yeah, because I know that right now a lot of people are losing jobs. They're going to look into it. Consultancies, but I just wanted to put some information out there and maybe help you in some way, like give you an idea of what the good ones do, what the bad ones do, or what other people do. You know, just have a clear idea of what things go through so you can make an informed decision. The first thing you want to do is, whenever you get into something like that, make an informed decision and talk to an attorney. Talk to an immigration attorney and see if they recommend you do that because those are the people there to help you because they know the law, so follow the law. In my opinion, okay, take advice from legal counsel that is going to help you all, right? so I think that's pretty much what I wanted to tell you folks about ID consultancy is you I know there are really some of them are really good they really help people they are protecting people they're protecting immigrants they're helping them get jobs they're helping their families here and back home as well so I hope you can find something like that but I hope that's all I had for you all the best to you uh make sure you subscribe to the channel if you want to listen more and hear more but I will see you in the next video all the best take care
